Lilac is Michelin-starred chef John Fraser's modern and elevated Mediterranean restaurant. Housed on the ground floor of The Tampa EDITION, guests are welcomed with hors d'oeuvres to share, followed by a three-course prix fixe menu. Signature dishes include locally sourced Grouper cooked in a cataplana, Short Rib cooked on a rotisserie, and Herbed Pasta with a soft egg and sherry-braised chanterelle mushrooms. Taking its cues from Fraser's Greek heritage and his admiration of Turkish cuisine, Lilac's balanced menu celebrates his vegetable-forward philosophy using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.
Overseen by Beverage Director and Advanced Sommelier Amy Racine, guests are greeted with a Champagne cocktail cart offering a selection of unique cocktails prepared tableside. In addition, Lilac offers a curated wine and Champagne list, which ranges from hard-to-find sparkling Rhône to Dom Perignon. The cocktail menu offers a twist on the classics, such as the ‘Lilac Vesper' and ‘Halva Espresso Martini' or ‘Tarragon Boulevardie' with apricot, spotlighting ingredients from the Mediterranean.
Open from Tuesday through Saturday, Lilac's walnut flooring and the warm glow from the pendant globes create an elevated, convivial space focused around an eight-seat chef's counter designed by Christian Liaigre in sandblasted walnut and a lively open kitchen.
